NELLE publishes, celebrates, and amplifies the voices of writers identifying as cis women, trans women, non-binary, intersex, and other historically marginalized gender communities. We publish poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and hybrid forms.
We are open for submissions February 1-July 1, 2024
All submissions will be automatically considered for our annual Three Sisters Awards. Three prizes of $500.00 will be awarded.
See genre guidelines for more specific information. Kindly submit only once in one genre within a given reading period. All submissions should include a cover letter with a brief biographical statement.
There is a $3 processing fee, which covers costs associated with our online submissions system. This fee is waived for current subscribers.
